Goodness, it has been a busy couple of months!!
It is also shaping up to be a very busy many more months! I was invited by Marina Graves to join her and Mark Sink in a show at Vertigo Art Space on Santa Fe. Additionally, I had an installation up at the University of Colorado at Denver's art building, and will have another one up on the campus *very soon*. Some pictures will be forthcoming, make sure to check my current works page for all sorts of details and images.

I also had a lovely weekend in Miami at the SPE National Conference. I don't know about you, but I am ALL OVER the tropical vacation thing. I love warm sunny weather. The conference was great too, and now we're moving forward with the 2008 conference, here in Denver! If you are a local gallery and want more information about the conference and opportunities to participate, please contact me!

So, for now, I have the following info:
May 3rd - the show opens at Vertigo, which is located at 960 Santa Fe Drive in Denver (click here for a map). The gallery will also be open for First Friday on the 4th of May, and then the show will be coming down May 28th. Stop on by if you're in the neighborhood!

Newest Announcement:
I have been selected to participate in a group show at the Colorado Symphony Orchestra's Boettcher Concert Hall, opening January 26th and running through June, the entire CSO season! At 6 pm on the 26th, we'll have the opening and I will also be part of a panel discussion about the relationship between visual art and music, accompanied by an amazing complement of artists and musicians. This will be followed by a 7:30 percussion performance with Dame Evelyn Glennie performing Michael Daugherty's UFO, and Jennifer Higdon's Concerto for Orchestra. Discount tickets are available for the performance, $10 for best seats! If you are interested, let me know via email and I will send you the details on how to get your tickets.

And a couple reminders!

First Friday in February: opening for my Coney Island series solo show

February 6th: my turn to speak at Self Made.

Both these events are at Double Daughters, the hippest bar in Denver at 1632 Market Street.
