
I've been photographing weddings for over 12 years, and still constantly find something new and wonderful to capture at each event. Each wedding is different, and each couple is different, so I try to make sure that your photos are different, capturing the tenor of the event, and the personality of the couple and their moment. Whether you are having a simple courthouse ceremony, or a giant celebration to honor your lifetime commitment with your partner, please rest assured that with me as your photographer, the images will capture the memories of your day, both for this lifetime and beyond.
Pricing
Because every wedding is different, I am flexible with pricing, and have built the following packages, and several a la carte options to meet your needs. All packages include 2 pre-wedding meetings to go over the shot list, wedding party, special requests, and a site walk-through to ensure that we are prepared to capture your day in the way that you envision. Our primary mode of capture is using professional Nikon digital cameras, lenses and camera mounted flashes, though some sites will require rental of off camera lighting. If that is the case, there will be additional discussion and arrangements made for a technical charge. Because I understand how stressful the finance and budget aspect of wedding planning is, you will always have the most up to date information available to make a decision about costs.Basic Package - $1500

Film/Alternative Methods

As you can tell by my artwork portfolio, I do have experience working with film and alternative capture methods using Holgas, toy cameras, and other alternative formats. Starts at $100, based on an hourly design fee, plus the cost of the book. The coffee table book is one of the best options out there for displaying and sharing your photos. Utilizing industry standard graphic design software, I will design a book layout to tell the story of your event, including text pages, images, and the ProLine papers and details from the Blurb website. Final price will vary, to be determined in consultation.Travel
My prices cover weddings in the Denver Metropolitan area, within the range from Loveland to the north, Castle Rock to the south, Georgetown to the west, and Strasburg to the east. Beyond those distances, travel is charged at $25/hour. If the location is more than 2 hours away, and the event covers more than 8 hours, I may request accommodation fees as well.I am also available for travel outside of Colorado, and outside of the United States. I've covered weddings in Michigan, Las Vegas, and Scotland. Extended travel requests can be arranged on a case by case basis.
Scheduling
When planning the wedding, a 50% deposit gets your date on the books, with the other 50% payable by the day before the event (typically at the rehearsal dinner, or the final planning meeting) in order to avoid the necessity of appointing someone to track us down and deal with finances on the big day. You have more important things to do! Once you contact us for a booking, we will have one meeting to determine the fit. If you like us, and we feel we can capture your day, we will draw up a contract and put a hold on the day. The contract will have to be returned and the deposit paid within a week in order to put you into the books as an official event. You will be the only wedding on a single day, unless you are booking for an entire weekend. If you are booking for a shorter a la carte shoot (engagement photos and the like) we may do a second shoot on a single day, though that rarely happens, as I prefer to shoot in the late afternoon and early evening, in order to capture the best light.If you have any other questions about scheduling a wedding or other photography event, please feel free to contact me.
